Yesterday's graphic designer becomes potter: Slovyansk resident restarts family business

To leave a profitable graphic design job in Kyiv and return to native Slovyansk in Donetsk region, for the sake of family business. Today, the story about Dmytro Yarovy and his business, red clay pottery. This is a family business and not the first one. They had been sewing clothes, selling kitchen utensils and water attractions. But had to close up each time. They hope this time will be different. Especially, because they work, in a ceramics capital of Ukraine – Slovyansk. We continue telling our CloseEast112 stories.

As part of the project CloseEast112, we go on telling about people who make Donbass better for fellow countrymen and closer to the whole country. This film is presented by the 112 Ukraine TV channel in the framework of the project with the Ukraine Confidence Building Initiative (UCBI II), funded by the US agency of international development USAID. It is devoted to the people of Donbas region who have managed to change their lives in spite of the war unfolding in Eastern Ukraine.
