Victor Yanukovych didn’t show up to the interview with the General Prosecutor’s Office today. His attorney Vitaliy Serdyuk did.

He returned the suspicion notice, delivered to Victor Yanukovych during his previous video-interview, back to the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko.

According to Serdyuk the suspicion note should have been sent in accordance with the  Law for International Assistance in Investigation, which hadn’t been done.

As it was reported earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office summoned Victor Yanukovych for questioning as a suspect in the case of treason. Yanukovych was supposed to be interviewed by the head of the investigative department of the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office.

The summons are published on the official web site of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
