White House approves first batches of lethal weaponry supplies for Ukraine

The U.S. government allowed the first batches of lethal weaponry supplies for Ukraine. Washington Post reported that referring to the sources in the White House.

According to the outlet, Department of the State issued a commercial license for exporting Barret sniper rifles as well as ammunition and spare parts for them. The deal is worth 40 million U.S. dollars; however, the U.S. government still will not approve sending Ukraine heavy weaponry such as Javelin missile launchers.
