U.S. Treasury Department passed the Congress the list of Russian oligarch and officials having close ties with the country’s leader Vladimir Putin.

Creation of this list is stipulated by the August 2017 bill, which aims to punish Russians involved in the interference with U.S. presidential election in 2016. The Kremlin report will include the names of businessmen assisting the Kremlin in waging the aggressive war, funding armed mercenaries and conducting cyber attacks.

It can also feature the names of oligarchs who got rich thanks to their relations with Putin – and his close friends who might be keeping some of his wealth. 50 to 200 Russians might be on this list.
