Sanctions against Russia should remain in force until full implementation of Minsk agreements and de-occupation of Crimea. The US Vice President Joe Biden said this after the meeting with the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

The US official is now in Ukraine with a working visit. In turn, Poroshenko expressed gratitude to the United States for the firm support and expansion of anti-Russian sanctions. He also said he hoped that the new US administration will continue supporting Ukraine in future.
