Moscow stepped up in terms of bringing relations with Washington back to normal. Russian leader Vladimir Putin sent his special envoy for cyber security affairs to the U.S. Department of the State. BuzzFeed News reported this on Wednesday.

Russia apparently tries to restore contacts with the U.S. in terms of security, military and intelligence, which were torn apart after the Kremlin’s aggression in Ukraine and military intervention in Syria.

Besides, the two parties have been conducting bilateral meetings to revive diplomatic contacts; the two heads of foreign affairs authorities, Sergei Lavrov and Rex Tillerson may meet during the upcoing session of UN Assembly.
