The White House discusses new wave of anti-Russian sanctions. Nikki Haley, the U.S. permanent representative in the United Nations, said this during the interview with CNN.

Washington plans to impose more restrictions on the Kremlin for Russia’s support of Bashaar al-Assad’s regime in Syria. This is another way for the U.S. to reply to the chemical attack in Idlib province.

The air strike that employed the use of chemical weapons took place on April 4 and killed at least a hundred people; many of them were women and children. Haley added that Pentagon has classified data on Assad’s involvement on this air strike.
