The criminals who tossed a hand grenade in the crowd on the Independence Day have been detained. Arsen Avakov, Ukraine’s interior minister reported that on Monday.

According to his report, all of them belong to the same gang called Torpedo; the gang is involved in several crimes based on ethnic and religious hatred.

The most high-profile cases include the blast near the U.S. embassy in Kyiv, the explosion at Polish consulate in Lutsk, northwestern Ukraine, the attempt to put the Lviv synagogue on fire and the desecration of Rabbi Nachman in Uman, central Ukraine. The police busted the criminals when they were about to blow up the monument to Hungarians in Ukraine’s Trans Carpathian region.
