The documentary about Donbas conflict has been shortlisted for the Oscar award. Azad Safarov, the Ukrainian journalist and one of the makers of the film posted that on Facebook. The documentary made in cooperation of Denmark, Sweden and Finland tells the story of a 10-year-old boy who lives on the frontline.

He and his grandmother are among the few remaining residents of Hnutove village in Donetsk region. They have nowhere to run and simply observe the other people escaping to safety. The picture already received dozens of awards on various cinema festivals. Another Ukrainian film, Donbas by Serhiy Loznytsia also pretended to Oscar, but it never made it to the shortlist.
