Roshen, the famous Ukrainian confectionery factory in the Russian town of Lipetsk shuts down.

The Ukraine-based company’s branch office confirmed the information on Friday morning. The decision was made for economic and political reasons.

Full production stop and maintenance of industrial and infrastructure facilities are planned for April 2017. The huge factory, which has branch offices in several European countries and Russia, belongs to President Petro Poroshenko who promised to sell it before stepping into his office. He still hasn’t fulfilled his promise.
