Valeriya Lutkovska, Ukraine’s ombudswoman asks her Russian counterpart Tatyana Moskalkova to report on the current whereabouts of Hennadiy Lymeshko.

Lutkovska sent her the respective letter on Friday. Hennadiy Lymeshko, the former serviceman of Ukraine’s armed forces, was detained in the occupied Crimea on August 12.

Russian law enforcers charged him with sabotage and espionage in favor of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian side denies his membership with the state security service, saying it was a provocation by the Russian special services.
