Ukraine and the United States refused to consider Russian resolution on UN peacekeepers in Donbas. This was reported by Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya. According to him, the draft resolution was previously discussed in the UN Security Council. But Ukrainian and American delegations had some major objections. Ukraine might introduce its own project on the peacekeepers, he said.

The diplomat supposed that the issue will be brought out at the UN General Assembly. Earlier Moscow proposed to deploy peacekeepers along the delimitations line. But Kyiv insists that they have to work on all the occupied territories of Donbas and also at the Russian border.
