
Ukraine once again urged the United Nations to call a tribunal over MH-17 crash. Pavlo Klimkin, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, announced that during the meeting of the Security Council.
The UN first attempt to call a tribunal and to punish the guilty in downing MH-17 was a year ago. However Russia, the member of the Security Council used its veto right to block the decision.
The flight MH-17 heading from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in Donetsk region on July 17, 2014, killing all 298 people aboard.
It was found that the airplane was hit from the surface-to-air missile system Buk from the territory of so-called Donetsk People’s Republic near the city of Torez, Eastern Ukraine.
