Ukraine intends to raise the issue of Russia’s interference in the Sea of Azov and actions in the occupied Crimea by turning to the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea. Ukraine’s permanent representative in the UN Volodymyr Yelchenko said that the next session of this authority is slated for late 2018.

According to the Ukrainian official, this question is already often mentioned in Ukraine’s lawsuits against Russia, when it comes to the UN International Court.
