Ukraine aims for NATO membership

The Ukrainian Parliament officially supported the membership of Ukraine in the NATO as the country’s strategic priority. 276 MPs voted for the document, with 226 necessary to pass it. Authors of the bill are sure such step will hugely contribute to the national security. Speaker of the Parliament Andriy Parubiy called the Alliance the only organization in the world that is capable of stopping the Russian aggression.
