The International Criminal Court in the Hague will today discuss the crimes, committed by the Ukrainian government and the-then President Yanukovych against the Euromaidan activists in late 2013 – early 2014.

The Ukrainian delegation in the court will be represented by the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko. He’s going to persuade the court to look into the relevant cases.

Last year, a prosecutor at the ICC said the cases were not enough systematized, so they should be defined as crimes against citizens, not as war crimes or crimes against humanity.

Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, the Ukrainian side is trying to post this case as part of the greater series of events, which eventually led to the annexation of Crimea and the occupation of Donbas.
