Since February 2017, OSCE has reported over 500 cases of hindering activity of its monitoring missions.

According to Ertugrul Apakan, the head of the OSCE SMM, 75 percent of such cases took place in the militant-occupied areas of Donbas.

The militants used brutal force 13 times over the mentioned period; due to one of such cases, an OSCE observer perished in April this year. Back then, the OSCE vehicle exploded on a landmine, killing the mission’s worker instantly.
