Scandalous Ukrainian MP Nadiya Savchenko will stay in custody. Kyiv appeal court decided so after another hearing in her case. The prosecutors are fine with the decision, and the lawyers are obviously not.

They already promised to address the European Court for Human Rights. After the verdict was announced, Savchenko’s supporters started a brawl with the guards in the session hall.

Savchenko protested and shouted that her sister Vira had her arms twisted. As is known, Savchenko was detained in March, after the MPs voted to take the parliamentary immunity away from her.

The former MP and combat pilot of Ukraine’s Air Force is accused of planning terrorist acts in the government quarter in Kyiv.
