Russian saboteurs’ network busted in southern Ukraine

A network of undercover Russian agents was busted in Mykolaiv region, southern Ukraine. The state security service detained the leader of the network, the 57-year-old officer of the Ukrainain Navy reserve.

The man repeatedly visted Crimea for instructions that he received from the Russian supervisors. He passed the data about Ukrainian military units stationed in Ochakiv district and formed the paramilitary groups in Mykolaiv region.

The court selected the two-months long detention as pre-trial restriction measure. Other members of the network are now interviewed as well.
