Russian investigators interrogated the arrested Ukrainian seamen for two days. Nikolai Polozov, the Russian lawyer reported that on Friday. His colleagues who protect the Ukrainian sailors in the Russian court filed requests, asking to move the inmates to Ukraine or some third country, according to the Geneva Convention.

As is known, Russia has been holding 24 Ukrainian sailors illegally. The crew members of three Ukrainian ships were attacked in the Kerch Strait in November 2018. The Russian naval group opened fire and wounded three of them. All 24 were captured and taken to Russia, where the court keeps extending the detention periods.
