The winner’s names are already known. Ukraine’s state security service released the expected results of the so-called election in the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The Russia-organized voting is slated for Sunday, November 11.

According to head of the service Vasyl Hrytsak, the victory will go to Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasichnik, the incumbent leaders of the Kremlin-backed ‘people’s republics’. During the ‘election’, the voters are also expected to choose their local and regional MPs.

The Ukrainian government and the international community condemned the faked election organized by the Russian political leadership; Ukraine’s president Petro Poroshenko expects that the ‘election’ will result in the new wave of anti-Russian sanctions.
