Russian observers may be present at the presidential election in Ukraine. However, that is only possible under the OSCE institution's mandate. Kurt Volker, the US Special Representative in Ukraine posted that on Twitter.

Previously, the OSCE Bureau for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights mentioned that there are two Russians on the list of candidates for OSCE monitors in the Ukrainian election. The list is to be approved by the Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, Pavlo Klimkin, the foreign minister of Ukraine said that Russian monitors will not be allowed to work during the presidential election in Ukraine. The voting day is salted for March 31.
