Russian Army conducts exercise in occupied Crimea

The Russian military have been holding another combat exercise in the annexed Crimea. The press office of the Russian Navy reported that.

About a thousand Marines and 50 combat vehicles were deployed on the peninsula. The drills take place on several mountain ridges.

Such exercises are a common thing in Crimea since Russia occupied it in February 2014; it is in the breach of the UN General Assembly, which urges the Kremlin to take its military away from the peninsula.
