17:39, 23 February 2018

Russia fenced itself off from the occupied Donbas by a quarantine line. It is forbidden to graze cattle within three hundred meters from the state border. This was reported at the Russian Border Guard Service in Rostov region.

Local authorities propose to mark the quarantine line with warning signs. As they explained, restrictions were introduced to protect the region from the transmission of infectious animal diseases.

Earlier, the outbreaks of African swine fever were recorded in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. A fine of up to 170 dollars was set as a penalty for violation of the ban.
