Protests against opening land market in Ukraine; dozens of protesters detained

A rally against the opening of land market in Ukraine took place near the Parliament building in Kyiv. Clashes between the police and protesters occurred from time to time. Dozens of protesters were detained. Several people on both sides were wounded in the fights.

On Tuesday morning, members of the far-right National Corps tried to enter the Parliament building; however, fighters of the National Guard repelled them. The protesters placed a tent near the Parliament.

During the clashes, one of the protesters lost conscience and was taken to a hospital. The police use tear gas, while the most active rally members throw stones at them. The media report that some journalists were hurt in the fights, too.
