Residents of occupied areas have no hope for any progress until Russia remains there. Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko said this while visiting the occupation line of Georgian territory of South Ossetia; it was illegally annexed by Russia in 2008.

Presidents of Ukraine and Georgia took a look at a base of Russian border guards, built several hundred kilometers away from the barbed fence.

It separates the lands of Georgia from these Russian-occupied territories of South Ossetia.
