President Petro Poroshenko signed the law on the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, which stipulates the country's intentions to enter the EU and NATO

The head of the state did this during the extraordinary session of the Ukrainian Parliament timed to the fifth anniversary of the beginning of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

Head of the European Council Donald Tusk joined the session as well. He also stressed that the EU would never recognize the annexation of Crimea by Russia, and that the anti-Russian sanctions will remain effective.
