Political prisoner Oleg Sentsov agrees on supporting therapy

Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov, who has been on a hunger strike in Russian cell agreed to undergo a course of supporting therapy. His lawyer Dmytro Dinze confirmed this piece of information, spread by Russia’s Federal Penitentiary Service.

Previously, the Ukrainian movie director announced a hunger strike demanding to release him and other Ukrainian political prisoners illegally held in Russia.

Currently, Sentsov serves time at Labytnangi penal colony, northern Russia. The court sentenced him to 20 years in prison for alleged preparation of terrorist acts in the annexed Crimea.
