Police detain two provocateurs after weekend brawls in central Ukraine

The Ukrainian police have detained two organizers of mass brawls in Cherkasy, central Ukraine, which took place on Sunday. One of the detainees is charged with mass unrest, hooliganism and injuring the on-duty police workers. The investigation into the incident is underway.

Members of the National Corps far-right organization clashed with the law enforcement officers in Cherkasy on Sunday. 15 servicemen were injured, including the head of the local National Police department Valeriy Lyuty.
