Regulatory committee of the Ukrainian parliament approved detention and arrest of corrupt Ukrainian MP Boryslav Rozenblat. It’s the fifth time this week that the committee gathered in Kyiv in order to find an official guilty of bribetaking and abusing power.

On Friday, the authority found that there’s enough evidence against the official to arrest him. Rozenblat, the member of pro-presidential Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc is accused of getting a 280,000-dollar bribe; the official was supposed to push forwards the bill on amber production in Ukraine – something in the interest of an unnamed foreign company.

The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office says this is only part of the official charge to be filed against Rozenblat.
