Parliament approves Ukraine’s state budget 2019

The Ukrainian Parliament passed the law about the state budget for the next year. The final voting for the bill took place in the early morning of Friday.

Oksana Markarova, the newly appointed Finance Minister of Ukraine presented the document in the session hall of the Parliament. According to her, the priorities of funding remain the same, including defense and security, reforms in the education, healthcare and decentralization, as well as the social care system.

The main financial document of Ukraine states that in 2019, the minimum salary will make USD 149. The cost of living will be 66 dollars. The exchange rate will drop from 28 to 30 Ukrainian hryvnas for 1 U.S. dollar.
