Over 7,000 Ukrainians who live in Donbas have received Russian passports by now. Rostov oblast governor Vasiliy Golubev said this as quoted by TASS news agency. He also claimed that another 30,000 filed the appeals.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemned this step of the Russian government, calling it a provocation and stating that Kyiv would continue to work on more sanctions against Russia.
