Since the beginning of the year, Russian militants violated the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine more than 100,000 times. OSCE Special Monitoring Mission Head Ertugrul Apakan said this at the UN Security Council session.

'Since January this year, OSCE SMM has reported over 100,000 ceasefire violations, after a brief pause in the combat activity; then, the action resumed.

Since the year began, the Mission confirmed 107 civilian deaths; most of these people walked on landmines or other sorts of explosive devices. Most of the cases were observed in April and May', Apakan said.
