
For the first time over 10-years Belarusian opposition got into the Parliament. This was reported by the chairman of the Central Election Commission of Belarus Lidia Yermoshina.
Anna Konopatskaya, a member of opposition United Civil Party won in one of the districts.
Alyona Anisim, the Deputy Chairman of the Society of Belarusian language, has also won a parliamentary seat, running as an independent candidate.
The parliamentary elections in Belarus were held on September 11.
There have been no opposition representatives among the country's lawmakers since 2004.
