Oleg Sentsov's hunger strike in Russian prison continues

The doctor and sister of Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov ask him to stop his ongoing hunger strike that has already lasted for over a week now. Sentsov's sister Natalya Kaplan told that to the Ukrainian media.

According to Kaplan, a doctor came to see Oleg on May 22. 'He says his condition is stable. Oleg is now in a cold cell, and they increased the heating level in it. The prosecutors and penitentiary service workers visited him and asked him to quit starving. But he stands his ground - just like he always did. The lawyer will see Oleg next week, she concluded.

As it is known, Ukrainian movie director Oleg Sentsov was detained by the Russian FSB in the annexed Crimea. He is charged with preparing a terrorist act in Crimea and sentenced to 20 years in the high-security penal colony.
