Obama says goodbye to fellow Americans

18:11, 11 January 2017

U.S. President Barack Obama made his farewell speech. He thanked all the Americans who accredited him with the nation's leadership for eight years from the scene of the McCormick Place in Chicago.

Many things were with the help of these people, the 44th U.S. president said. Specifically, he mentioned Washington destroying the Al-Qaeda terrorist group leader Osama bin Laden in 2011 and a nuclear agreement with Iran. In Obama’s opinion, America shouldn’t be afraid of its major enemies, Russia and China, but will stand against their attempts to expand their influence.

As he failed to continue the cadence of the Democrats in the White House, Barack Obama promised “the peaceful transfer of power from one freely-elected president to another”

As it was reported earlier, the president-elect Donald Trump is to enter his office on January 20.
