19:15, 10 July 2019

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said there would be no military parade, in Kyiv on Independence Day. He officially offered to pay the military a money prize instead of the parade.

On the other hand, head of the government Volodymyr Groysman claimed it would still develop the cost estimation for the parade. The Cabinet is to offer the President to review his decision. But it's still up to Zelensky.

Meanwhile, many activists, including Donbas combat veterans use social networks, agreeing to make their own parade on Independence Day, which is August 24.
