Mike Pompeo chairs CIA

Mike Pompeo becomes the Chief of the Central Intelligence Agency. The Senate voted for the President Donald Trump's nominee to lead the U.S. intelligence. Previously, Pompeo accused Russia of their intervention into Ukraine, stating that Moscow is bolstering its self-esteem at the cost of external aggression.

The CIA director also shares the opinion that Russian hackers are behind the cyber attacks during the US presidential elections.

Another Trump’s proxy Rex Tillerson was approved for the State Secretary with the one-vote edge during the voting at the Senate committee. The nominee is to be approved by the Senate afterwards. In due time Tillerson refused to call Vladimir Putin a war criminal. At the same time he stands for providing Ukraine with lethal weapons.
