Less than 10 percent of Crimean Tatars voted at Russian elections in Crimea

Less than ten percent from the entire Crimean Tatar population of Crimea voted at the Sunday presidential election in Russia.

Zair Smedlyayev, the head of the Central Election Committee of Qurultai of Crimean Tatar people said that in a commentary for 112 Ukraine TV channel.

According to him, people were offered food and transport service in exchange for their votes. But even despite that fact, the overall voting activity was less than 50 percent.
