Kyiv court chooses pre-trial restriction ffor MP's son who mowed down pedestrian

Nestor Shufrych, Jr., the son of scandalous pro-Russian MP Nestor Shufrych, will have his restriction measure announced by the court on Wednesday.

The Shevchenkivsky district court is going to put him under home arrest for accidentally mowing down a pedestrian in Kyiv on August 26. Nestor Shufrych, Jr. was driving his Bentley when he ran over a man crossing the street.

The pedestrian suffered inter-cranial injuries; he had his leg broken and shoulder dislocated. He underwent two surgeries, by Ukrainian and Israeli doctors. The driver proved to be clean of the alcohol or drugs.
