Kropyvnytsky town holds moment of silence for deceased Euromaidan protesters

Ukrainians in central Ukrainian city of Kropyvnytsky commemorated the memory of their compatriots deceased at the Maidan uprising during the Revolution of Dignity with a one-minute silence.

The sorrow ceremony from the flower-laying ceremony to the memorial plaque of their compatriot Viktor Chmilenko, the Hero of the Heavenly Hundred, was shot dead by a sniper on February 20.

According to his fellows Victor was extricating casualties. He managed to save three of his friends, but when he came back to pick up the fourth one, he was hit by a bullet himself.

The participants of the today’s rally address city authorities to install a monument to the heroes of “Heavenly Hundred”.
