The IMF expects quick progress in the negotiations with Ukraine. Poul Thomsen, the director of the IMF's European Department said this in an interview with Voice of America. The Fund's delegation is to arrive in Kyiv on November 14.

Currently, Ukraine and the IMF cooperate under the short-term program, which expires in February 2020. No details of the new agreement have been disclosed so far; however, the National Bank expects that Ukraine could get from five to ten billion US dollars in loans within the next three or four years.
