The Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is considering the issue of the next billion tranche for Ukraine today, on Monday. In case of the positive decision, the money will arrive within the next week.

The IMF postponed considering allocation of their fourth loan in order to calculate the consequences of the trade blockade of the occupied Donbas, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry said.

The IMF approved a four-year Extended Fund Facility program worth $17.5 billion for Ukraine in March 2015.

So far, Kyiv has received three tranches for over 7.5 billion dollars in total.
