Alexis Tsipras, the Greek PM, came to Ukraine with a two-day-visit. He met with President Petro Poroshenko and other leaders of the state. He also spoke to Greek diaspora representatives in this country.

Tsipras has been chairing the Greek government since 2015, when his party of radical leftists won the parliamentary election. At the time, he was considered one of the firmest Euroskepticists among the EU leaders and threatened to break up all relations with the IMF and other foreign credit providers of Greece.

That brought the country on the edge of withdrawal from the EU. However, the sides managed to make a deal; Greece received another loan worth of 86 billion Euros, in exchange for the decisive steps to save the budget costs. м
