The positional uncertainty of the future American president towards the conflict in Ukraine leaves no room for progress in Minsk agreement.

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier announced that. He is hosting his counterparts from more than 50 OSCE member states in Hamburg, where the two day OSCE Ministerial Council kicks off today.

Lavrov and Steinmeier had talks on Ukraine and the new agreement on the arms control in Europe. The Ukrainian initiative of the armed OSCE mission in Donbas is also in the agenda among other issues.
