G7 supports Ukraine's plan to deploy UN peacekeepers in Donbas, - Klimkin

Foreign ministers of G7 member countries are standing with Ukraine in terms of the peacekeeping mission in eastern Ukraine.

Pavlo Klimkin, this country's foreign minister said that at the ministerial meeting in Toronto, where Ukraine was invited for the first time in its history. The meeting featured discussions about the latest developments in Crimea and Donbas.

'Discussing the format of the peacekeeping operation, everyone agreed that first comes the basic security (strict control of the heavy weaponry use), then the control over the occupied territories, the police security and only then comes preparation for elections', Klimkin said.
