Farnborough 2018 airshow kicks off in England, Russia doesn’t show up

Farnborough-2018, one of the world’s most renowned airshows began in the namesake suburban area of London. This year, the organizers forbade Russia to bring any of its military aircraft.

In turn, the Russian side decided not to send the delegation at all. Ukraine, on the other hand, will show its Antonov An-178, the big cargo aircraft, which cost the country’s economy almost three billion U.S. dollars.

On the first day of the airshow, Boeing and Airbus companies already signed contracts for supplies of their passenger aircraft, totally worth 20 billion dollars. Farnborough air show is among the world’s largest airshows, uniting over 1,500 companies all over the world.
