Ex-President of National Aviation University in Kyiv charged with corruption

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine completed pretrial investigation of the case of the former head of the National Aviation University Volodymyr Kharchenko. The head of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office Nazar Kholodnytsky announced that on Friday.

He also added that there are enough evidence to prove the ex-rector is guilty.

The evidence will be passed to court after the both sides familiarize themselves with the indictment.

Kharchenko is accused of blackmailing 170 thousand Euros. He was detained together with his associate in late August while taking a bribe of more than $100 000 for reinstating several professors in their offices.
