Evacuation of the residents of Aleppo resumed. 500 people left the Eastern part of the war torn city on Sunday. They were transported by five buses late in the evening to the neighboring city Al-Rashidin, west of Aleppo.

This was announced by the Turkish humanitarian organization, which performed the rescue operation. Two ambulance vehicles also left the city. Evacuation of civilians started back on December 15.

Several thousands of people managed to escape the rebel-held districts of the city. However, the operation was suspended after the arson of the buses. Five buses have been completely destroyed.
