EU summit kicks off in Brussels

The EU summit began in Brussels on Thursday. The official events started at 4.30 p.m. Kyiv time. The officials will discuss Brexit, migration crisis, EU-Turkey relations, as well as nuclear safety in the view of the North Korean crisis and the agreement with Iran.

Ukraine-related questions are not on the agenda. The summit will be held in the European Council’s old HQ, due to technical issues; last week, twenty people suffered from chemical poisoning, as harmful vapor appeared in the session hall of the European Council. The toxic vapor leak reportedly occurred due to a ventilation system malfunction in the kitchen.
